New Escape Room Opening in Sycamore, Illinois

A new escape room is opening in Sycamore, Illinois and the owners are Rockford High School graduates and current DeKalb County residents.
Civil Engineering Firm owner Kevin Bunge and his family are opening "Syco Escape Rooms," located at at 1170 DeKalb Avenue, which will feature three different rooms: including a baseball themed room, a medieval throne room and a prison break themed room. Rooms range in size from 300 to 500 square feet.
To keep things fresh, room themes will then be changed every six to twelve months, and Bunge noted that he plans on expanding with an additional two room for a grand total of five escape rooms.
Bunge and his wife are Rockford High School graduates and and have been DeKalb County residents since 1986. Bunge is also the Village Engineer for Rockton, Cherry Valley, Creston and Timberlane.
The family says they hope to be open in May 2020.
